Religious texts have truth the same way Star Trek has truth. In addition, when compared to most major religions, Star Trek is:
--more entertaining
--better written
--less violent
--less racist
--less sexist
--more educational
--more kid-friendly
--more internally consistent and
--has better outfits.
Plus a lot of the stuff predicted in Star Trek has actually come true.
