Why make these videos? I can't speak for the makers of the videos, but I can tell you what I think.
The audience -- normal day-to-day Christians who can think as opposed to ones who are proud of being ignorant -- doesn't fuss too much about religious beliefs. Yet, automatically when they hear someone else is Christian they assume that that other person is more moral and that atheists or other non-Christians are less moral. This is not true. Overall, Christians are less moral than atheists and many other religious groups.
The bottom line is that religion and specifically Christians are out of control. They have leaders that are proponents of bad ideas. Ideas that get people killed and saddles my country (USA) with debts that should not be there. I'm sure to you this is not an abstraction.
If people -- including Christians -- were made aware that they don't have a basis for what they think is morality, they may moderate what they think about other non-Christians. Some of them even drop Christianity all together.
