Do you believe everything someone on YouTube says? I don't.
This guy has a lot of bold claims which would be very interesting if true. Too bad he doesn't provide the evidence.
When I was a kid, I used to pray every night for a new bike. Then I realised, the Lord doesn't work that way. So I just stole one and asked Him to forgive me. - Emo Philips

Reading about cults has actually been beneficial to me.  I've learned that people can make outrageous claims about being god or a prophet, and that even within their lifetime they can quickly amass large quantities of disciples who will follow them even into death.

I've also learned from studing the mass media that even in this electronic age where everything can be recorded digitally for posterity, claims can still be taken out of context, or exaggerated, or manipulated.  And the more years that go by, the more likely are errors in copying or outright intentional changes.

Show that
(1) some Judean preacher named Jesus actually lived.
(2) he said all the things he is supposed to have said.
(3) he wasn't deluded himself.
(4) no "facts" about God have been added after the fact by later enthusiastic editors.
(5) contrary to the billions of people who practice Islam or Hinduism, Christians are right.

I stopped believing for a little while this morning. Journey is gonna be so pissed when they find out...

Isn't that Lee Strobel if I'm not mistaken?

Anyway, any claims made to support Jesus in no way proves that God/A God is real. If God himself doesn't exist, then the story of Jesus and his miracles and resurrection are myths whether Jesus existed as a real person or not.
You believe in a book that has sticks turning into snakes, and you say we are the ones that need help?
When you understand why you dismiss all other Gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours.
It is better to grasp the universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however reassuring.

Yes, it is.

And OP - I don't believe because there is no evidence. Care to provide some?

His exact argument could be used to "prove" countless other religions. Take Islam, for example:
"We have ___ eyewitness reports that Muhammad existed! Islam suddenly grew out of nowhere; how do you explain that?..."

The ONLY evidence that the man in the video has is the bible. The bible is being used as evidence to support itself. That is circular logic.

Watch this and then explain how you deny Christ:

I don't deny your god ... I'm just not a Christian.  To me to deny your Christ would be like you 'denying' Shiva, Zeus, or Thor.  Going out of my way to 'deny' any of them would be strange.

If you want to talk, I'm willing to open up a one-on-one chat area here on the forums so that we aren't disturbed.

If not, and I can't blame you if you have never talked with a non-Christian, that's fine as well.
Smart people believe weird things because they are skilled at defending beliefs they arrived at for non-smart reasons. --Michael Shermer

The history of religion is a long attempt to reconcile old custom with new reason, to find a sound theory for an absurd practice.  --Sir James George Frazer
