Hello. I just started reading your web site last evening. While I'd
usually wait until I was finished to send a congratulatory note, I can't
wait this time. It is awesome! I love how you patiently, gently, and
mechanically unhinge the superstition of religion.
I'm an atheist, needless to say. I've gotten here organically over the
years, gradually figuring out on my own that what I learned as a child was
complete nonsense, and very much like Santa Claus for adults. As I've
gotten older (late 30's currently) and am continually confronted by and
surrounded by religion, I'm starting to 'push back'. I'm getting frustrated
that otherwise well educated, rational people base their lives around
complete nonsense, without applying the slightest bit of logic. If
anything, I think I'm turning into a fundamentalist atheist, which probably
is not a good thing--time to reel it in a bit.
I look forward to continuing to go through your site. I can't wait for the
Jehovah's Witnesses to stop by my house again--this time I'm just going to
sit them down and play them some of your videos instead of talking with them
for hours (as I try to talk them out of their position).
