Great website [#1543]
« on: July 06, 2009, 05:48:53 AM »
Hi,

Great website.  I've thought along these lines for years and always felt I
was in a small minority.  Your arguments are made with great clarity.  The
only part I'd disagree on is the 1% of people are evil bit. Thinking in
binary that people are good or evil is a religious way of thinking.  Humans
can choose to do good or evil acts, but are not inherently good or evil.

Keep up the good work.

Cheers,

Agreed on the evil part.  (Though, a good argument could be made for psychopaths being 'evil' -- though that word is loaded with bias.)

As for 'being alone', as you probably know now, you definitely are not.   If anything, there are too many resources!

First some basic statistics, then a list of some resources...

You are definitely not alone.  If you are in the United States there are populations of atheists in every single state.
