I believe in everything you are saying. You make very valid points that I myself have come up with. Heres an analogy you might be able to use that I thought of.
Santa Clause=God
Santa Clause and God are both based on the same premises and morals
God=If you believe in his son, Jesus Christ, and do good deeds you will go to heaven.
Santa Clause= If you believe in Santa Clause and are a "good boy/girl" you will receive presents in return.
I may be going out on a limb but I believe that they can be looked at the same. Except like most sane humans we dis-credit Santa Clause at the age of 7. You don't see pseudo-religious Santa Clause fanatics claiming that Santa Clause creates miracles, that if you don't believe in him you will be judged before him and sent to hell, and wars are not started over different faiths under the same " Santa Clause".
