...religion can cause so many wars but in your answers where god is immaginary you say that men wrote the bible but then in ur questions you ask why god says these things in the bible. if god didn't write the bible, then how are YOU sure hes saying these things?
It's just quicker to say it this way. When we discuss Charles Dickens, we all understand that the characters in
his books are man-made too. Nevertheless, we have no trouble saying, "In the book, Oliver Twist said, such-and-such," and everybody understands that we mean "Oliver Twist, the fictional character created by Charles Dickens." It is not necessary to explain in every breath that we think poor Oliver is made up.
When we say the Bible is man-made, we mean that the characters in it are fictional, or at least fictionalized. Including all gods.
