going to a craft fair
« on: October 12, 2018, 08:41:55 AM »
I've been accepted at a craft fair for my ink art.  :)  It's for a breast cancer group, so even if I don't sell anything, the site fee will be for a worthy cause.

I also got accepted for a Christmas festival fair but that one is run by a homeless shelter/Christian mission.   I'm of two minds of whether to attend or not.   The mission does good work, but well, they spread nonsense.

and I think it does, at least most of the time.

I say hold your nose and do the greater good.

Nice artwork too. I am always jelly of people that get to present their art

well, I signed up for these craft fairs whilst I was rather tipsy.  a bit of liquid courage to get me over my introvertedness.

I hear that, I did a stand-up once and had a few shots before I went on stage. I currently have notebooks of stand-up material ready to go, but I am too sheepish to really pursue it. My friends tell me I should, but I just hate public speaking. I wish I knew how to get an in on writing for others.

yep, some jobs see to be utterly mysterious on how to get them.
