I liked it as you made an argument in a different way then i ever thought to. Very good point and i got a kick out of it. If you can't guess, I'm not a christian by any stretch. Very hard core atheism is alive and well in me.

I recently wrote a paper that i thought you might like to read. No hard feelings if you don't have the time or want to browse through it, but i figured i would offer anyway.

About the paper, i had to create a religion for a world religions class. So i wrote my views down on paper. I think there would be some things that strike you as oddly familiar and maybe even some things that you just discredit. Either way i always like critiques on my work and you seem at least somewhat like minded so you seemed like a decently safe audience. It might even give you some ideas, but who knows.

If you would like to read it, just shoot me an email to [email address] and i'll send you a copy. As i said, if you don't want to, that's fine as well.

Thanks for your time,

Come to the forums if you want ... some folks have dabbled in what is necessary to create gods and even whole religions.

In either case, here are some things to keep you amused and informed;

* The WWGHA and GII web sites have other resources beyond the forums;

  50 (51, 52, ...) simple proofs:

* YouTube Video channels;

* Atheism blogs;

* TV programs; -- TV program out of Austin TX with many back episodes

* Audio;

I've got a boatload of podcasts/RSS feeds if you listen to that stuff.  Let me know what you're interested in, and I'll be glad to offer recommendations.
Smart people believe weird things because they are skilled at defending beliefs they arrived at for non-smart reasons. --Michael Shermer

The history of religion is a long attempt to reconcile old custom with new reason, to find a sound theory for an absurd practice.  --Sir James George Frazer
