Don't you forget about this message! [#760]
« on: December 02, 2008, 06:59:16 PM »

Mark my words....

You are so going to hell.

And what is hell?

It's Fire and Flames that eats through your skin!

And just when your skin gets totally burned out, your old burned skin gets replaced with new skin so that you'll feel every second of pain burning in the UNIMAGINABLY HOT FIRE!

Believe it or don't believe it .. You are literally going to burn in hell after you die..

And you WILL remember this message and you WILL bite your fingers out of regret ..

But what will regret do to you when it's too late?

Return to the right path now before it's too late and you find yourself biting your fingers..

And just so you know, the right path ... The right comprehension of life, reason of existence, afterlives... The right religion it Islam..

Yours..

Why do you threaten hell to people who don't believe in it?

You are so going to hell.

By your own standards you are going to a similar mythological literal hell that is reflected in hundreds ( if not thousands ) of similar beliefs for the exact same reasons.

What now?

Threats of hell fire and torture do not work on a person who does not believe in it and has seen no evidence to support its' existence.

This is argument from intimidation isn't it?  Not really sure, but it's a classic one used over and over...as GotMooo posted

I just realized something:

How can I bite my fingers...

Quote
And what is hell?
It's Fire and Flames that eats through your skin!

...if the above is true?  I won't have any fingers to bite!  Do make an effort to keep your empty threats consistent, Mr. Letter Writer.

It is worldwide "terrorism".  Shame on Christians for pushing that horrific mythological... bull ____!

@JesusIsImaginary:

This guy is Islamic, not Christian.  For this thread, I'm going to have to relate to the Atheists.  No, threatening Hell never works when you're trying to get your point across.  More often than not, you will be looked at as a radical which will totally draw people into your system of beliefs right?  Wrong.  Sorry, threatening Hell's not going to do it.  Need a better approach.

This guy is Islamic, not Christian.

I guess you really don't know which religion was the biggest inspiration for Islam....

Here's a quote from an essay on world religions:

Quote
Yet another of the world’s most prominent religions is the fastest growing in the world, since 1960.  It’s Islam, and since that time the population of professed Islam followers has tripled.  Islam is the Arabic word for submission, and  Islamic followers are known as Muslims.
The god of the Muslims is Allah, and he is believed to be the only god and is greater than all.  He is the most important part of the Muslim faith.  The second most important figure in Islam is Muhammad.  Muhammad is said to be the prophet of Allah.  Born poor in Mecca in the year 570, Muhammad was an orphan.  Mecca is in present-day Saudi Arabia.  During that time, however, Mecca was a city of idol worship, not the Islamic capitol of the world.  Muhammad often abandoned the masses and hid himself in a small cave to meditate.  When he was forty years old, Muhammad claimed to have heard the voice of Allah speaking to him then, and for the rest of his life.  The things Allah told him, he wrote down into a book called the Koran.
Despite being divinely inspired, the people of Mecca did not receive Muhammad’s Koran.  Instead, he and the few people who believed him were expelled from Mecca into Medina, an event which is now celebrated as the beginning of the Islamic year.  After many years of teaching and acceptance in Medina, Muhammad returned to Mecca.  This time, he overtook the city and became its leader.  It took only a few years for Islam to spread until it was larger than the Roman Empire.
Besides the Koran, there is one other text that is used by the Muslim people.  The Hadith is a collection of stories and phrases about Muhammad.  To Muslims it is important, but less so than the Koran because it was not divinely inspired.  The Koran is full of guidelines and is used when creating laws in some countries.  Aside from the guidelines of Muslim life, the Koran also holds pieces of poetry, art, and science.
Part of the guidelines in the Koran is known as the Five Pillars of Islam.  These Five Pillars are strict requirements of worship and conduct for every Muslim.  The first pillar is known as the Shahada, or affirmation of faith.  It states; “There is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is his prophet.”  The second pillar is prayer.  Muslims are obligated to pray five times a day, facing Mecca.  Although many sects pray at different times, original pillar transcripts require the prayers to be before sunrise, between midday and afternoon, in the afternoon, immediately after sunset, and between the time twilight is over and just before dawn.  The third pillar deals with giving alms to the poor.  This means that whatever can be spared, should be donated to someone less fortunate.  Muhammad said that everyone can give alms.  Even those with nothing can bless others by thinking good thoughts about them.  The forth pillar is fasting.  To fast is to go without food for a period of time, in this case that period of time is from sun up to sun down during the month of Ramadan.  The final pillar of Islam is to take a pilgrimage, or trip, to Mecca, the Muslim holy city.  At Mecca, the pilgrims are required to walk around the Kaaba counter-clockwise seven times before entering.  This ritual is called the Tawaf.
Muslims believe that forgiveness can be bought by retaining the Five Pillars, and that the death of Jesus has nothing to do with it.  In Islam, people are believed to be born inherently good, and therefore can rely on the mercy of Allah to allow them into heaven.  To them, it’s more than asking forgiveness, one also must keep all Five Pillars to perfection, and keep in a state of complete surrender to Allah at all times.
Summarized, Muslims believe in only one god, Allah, who is above all things.  Allah created the world and humans, and humans are meant to take care of all creation.  Humans are also born in good nature and are ordained to inherit heaven so long as they obey the Five Pillars.  Disobedience of Allah’s laws is sin.  Lastly devout Muslims, when they die, will go to heaven, while those who have sinned will be sentenced to hell.
Muslims do recognize Jesus in their teachings.  They do believe he was born of the Virgin Mary.  They do believe that he performed miracles.  However, unlike Christians, they do not believe that Jesus died when he was crucified.  Muslims believe that Jesus’ soul ascended to heaven with Allah, and he only appeared to have died.  Also in the Islamic faith, Jesus was a mere prophet; one of the greatest prophets, but not God Himself.  The Christian idea of the Trinity, God the Father, God the Son, and the Holy Spirit, is also preached to be false in Islam.
Islam is yet another salvation by works type of religion.  Not only works, but perfection in those works must be achieved.  In Islam you won’t go to heaven unless you did everything perfectly correct every time.  Muslims who mess up face the question of whether or not they’ll go to heaven.  They are just not sure, unlike with Christianity.  The Christian Bible states in the book of Ephesians that “It is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – not by works, so that no one can boast.”  The Bible makes it very clear that you cannot acquire salvation through the things that you do, whereas perfection of ritual and dedication to pleasing Allah is the key to it in the Muslim faith.  Therefore Islam and Christianity cannot both be true.

Fight fire with love.

I've been to Hell.  Really small place, a few churches and a general store.  Nothing worth stopping for unless you want a snack.  I think it's in Pennsylvania, a few miles off the interstate.

Nope, it's in Michigan.  I was on a camping trip with a buddy of mine from high school.  We looked on the map to figure out how to get home and saw, "Hell."  Naturally we stopped at the one store in the small collection of houses; an ice shop and gift store selling "Hell, Michigan" paraphernalia.
