It's very premature to draw conclusions, but the results give researchers a specific place to look. I'll be keeping an eye on the research that will follow.

A lot of possibilities, if this discovery can be repeated and refined. Artificially-induced sleep for insomniacs? Non-violent restraint for prisoners? A new technique for treating some forms of autism?

Makes me go hmmmm, thinking of ways that may be used...
It doesn't make sense to let go of something you've had for so long.  But it also doesn't make sense to hold on when there's actually nothing there.

I feel positive that believers will claim that this is the place at which the soul interfaces with the brain.
Just because you've always done it that way doesn't mean it's not incredibly stupid.
Why is it so hard for believers to answer a direct question?
