Habenae Est Dominatus

Habenae Est Dominatus - Latin for Government is Tyranny.

Greetings all.

I've been reading posts here off and on for a couple of months. I am impressed by the way the regulars deal with the religious (superstitious). Facts, evidence, logic, address the points, and a level of politeness I hope I can emulate.

I am here with an agenda.

It is my conclusion, after years of thinking on this, that belief in "government" is a religion just like beliefs in the god(s).

It is my intent to harness the requirements of fact, evidence, logic, and address the points attitudes of the regulars as I present my case.

"Government" is analogous not to "gods" but to "religion".  Both "government" and "religion" describe human behaviours.

Both exist, as the human behaviours they describe exist.

Welcome Habenae Est Dominatus.  To help understand your agenda, do you think belief in government as a religion is a good thing, bad thing, or a neutral thing?  Is your conclusion based on one particular form of "government" or all forms?

Welcome to the forum. I love Latin. I only wish I could learn it properly.
The truth is absolute. Life forms are specks of specks (...) of specks of dust in the universe.
Why settle for normal, when you can be so much more? Why settle for something, when you can have everything?

Salvete! :)
We humans may never figure out the truth, but I prefer trying to find it over pretending we know it.

You're doing a piss poor job.
