Lesbian Asks Anti-Gay Church To Stone Her
« on: March 21, 2014, 08:28:45 PM »
We need more of this kind of rebuke in the US...

Quote
When Jennifer Louise Lopez first saw the horrific anti-gay sign go up on The ATLAH Worldwide Missionary Church in her neighborhood in Harlem, she knew she had to take action...

Lopez knocked on the church's front door this week and informed the man who answered, "I saw your sign and I'm here for my stoning, I'm a lesbian"...

The man, who seems a bit unsure as to what he should say, ultimately tells Lopez that he doesn't have any stones but she should come back the next day.

There is no opinion so absurd that a preacher could not express it.

Assisted suicide or manslaughter if it actually happens?

A god is like a rock: it does absolutely nothing until someone or something forces it to do something. The only capability the rock has is doing nothing until another force compels it physically to move.

She should not feel so alone. Everybody must get stoned.  - Bob Dylan
It doesn't make sense to let go of something you've had for so long.  But it also doesn't make sense to hold on when there's actually nothing there.
