Words fail me:

Quote
Do you have any idea how oppressed and persecuted American Christians are?

So oppressed and persecuted that in order to prove it, pastors in Ohio called the local cops and requested to be taken into custody in front of their congregations.

You heard right. The histrionic clergymen staged mock arrests — with the help of publicly funded police officers no less — to drive home how severely their Jesus faith has come under attack.

If you have to lie to make it seem like you're "oppressed", then you're betraying the god you supposedly worship.

Because Ohio just has too many damn cops, they don't know what to do with them.  Might as well use them to prove an idiotic point.

If you have to lie to make it seem like you're "oppressed", then you're betraying the god you supposedly worship.

If only there was some sort of COMMAND that was ME(a)NT to prevent lying...

Let's drop these Christians[1] in a very strict Muslim country like Saudi Arabia,[2] Iran, Eritrea, etc., and let them experience actual persecution.

..If Athists carry on talking, we'll have 100 million more people mass murdered by those who say "lets drop these Christians... into a muslim country.. and let them experience actual persecution"  in order to divide and rule, take over and eliminate religion. Atheists only prove no matter what, 'the whole world lieth in wickedness' (1 John 5:19b)

Atheists murdered and targeted Christians for elimination - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Religion_in_the_Soviet_Union

The Atheist state[3] killed more than 40 million people[4].

Then Mao in China, also wiping out religion with his brand of atheistic socialism Marxist-Leninism, killed more than 60 million people.[5]

These 2 world leaders, both atheists who rejected religion, killed more people than anyone else in the world.[6]

The prize for those best at killing and persecuting the most go to Atheists.

Christians are treated better by Muslims than Atheists.  Futhermore, it would be safer to live in an Islamic country than to live in a Atheistic Socialist Marxist-Leninist barbaric state which killed over 100 million people. Also, Muslims are more tollerant than Atheists and they are not all bad as you insinuate. Its the Kufar like you, to put it in an Islamic context, which cause the most wars.

And the only thing you're showing here is that despite a lengthy enforced 'vacation' from the forum, you haven't changed.  Nam's statement was hyperbole, deliberate exaggeration for effect, to illustrate the hypocrisy of Christian ministers faking being arrested so they can pretend that it's is why they don't defend their faith.

Quote from: SwordOfGod
In saying this, I notice you also admit that Muslims persecute Christians, not the other way round. Well done.
Christians are perfectly willing to persecute Muslims when they have the opportunity to.  Though I suppose Christians prefer to be persecuted for their faith?  Or at least it seems like that's what you're suggesting here, I could be wrong.

No, Nam Stalin Jr was speaking like a murdering tyrant from the Atheist Socialist, Marxist-Leninist state.  I am right in saying this.  If you dont like it, thats not my problem. I reported his behaviour to the moderator as incitement to religious hatred. His speech was actually the definition of evil. As a Christian forum member, I have never called for the persecution of Christians or Atheists by saying "lets drop them in Saudi Arabia..." to see what "real persecution" is like etc.. But no, a double standard always applies to immoral Atheists on this forum.  Nam speaks like an immoral bigoted murderer, but he gets support, backing and no ban by troll-cock Atheists. When an Atheist says something, its hyperbole, when a Christian illustrates something, its an offence. Nam Stalin is sick in the head.

Hey, shit for brains: if you're going to add shit when you quote my comments, state you did otherwise fuck off.

Also, those are puny numbers if we not only believe what the Bible says or what history actually says like the Spanish Inquisition, The Dark Ages, all of the Crusades[7] and WWII. 6 million Jews died by Christians.

And let's not forget the untold number of people during Christian rule that considered anything not stated in the Bible as blasphemy and then they executed people because they had the gall to say something contradictory.

Let's see that adds up to BILLIONS.

Idiot.

Actually that prize goes to aflyingshoeists. Therefore everyone who doesn't believe in flying shoes is morally inferior as their lack of belief in that their shoes fly  around in the room while they are asleep and no recording devices are present must have led them to those awful crimes.

Yes, that is what you are arguing.
An Omnipowerful God needed to sacrifice himself to himself (but only for a long weekend) in order to avert his own wrath against his own creations who he made in a manner knowing that they weren't going to live up to his standards.

And you should feel guilty for this. Give me money.

I hate to break it you asswipe but I've been banned from this website before, and as you can see I have a "Watched" moderation on my avatar, it's at 15% recently it was at 30%. They don't side with me because I'm atheist; actually, they're rarely on my side. Most atheists probably don't like me. And, at a mutual atheist website I was once banned for life[1].

And when atheists on here say stupid shit, I respond accordingly. So, don't make this a "all you atheists stick together" bullshit because you're speaking out of your fuckin' troll ass.

I don't care if you consider yourself right in saying this.  You're entitled to your own opinion, but you're not entitled to have other people agree with it.  If you choose to dismiss what other people say in response, then you're essentially just talking to yourself, and I don't see the point in having that kind of attitude on a forum.  If you aren't willing to consider that you might have been wrong, then why should anyone care what you think in the first place?

Quote from: SwordOfGod
I reported his behaviour to the moderator as incitement to religious hatred.
You do know what hyperbole is, right?  It's using a deliberate exaggeration to help make your point.  That's what Nam was doing.  He was not seriously suggesting that Christians should be deported to Muslim countries in order so that they could be persecuted.  The real problem here is that you're setting up the rationale to claim that unless Nam gets punished for his behavior, that the moderators think the same way.

Quote from: SwordOfGod
His speech was actually the definition of evil. As a Christian forum member, I have never called for the persecution of Christians or Atheists by saying "lets drop them in Saudi Arabia..." to see what "real persecution" is like etc..
When you have Christians pulling ridiculous stunts where they get mock-arrested so they can fool other people into thinking that they're being persecuted, that's pretty bad in and of itself.  The natural response - which is not an incitement to religious hatred - is to say, "well, maybe if they knew how bad religious persecution actually was, they wouldn't playact at stunts like this."  That's more or less what Nam meant here.  There is far too much real religious persecution in the world; we do not need ministers making arrangements with police to get dragged out from behind their pulpits in handcuffs to cheapen what really happens in other countries.

Just as I thought, you're trying to make a mountain out of a molehill and using it to justify your claims about atheists (which I have very little doubt are contrived - you aren't really talking to people here, you're setting it up so you can whine about how badly the atheists at WWGHA treated you).  You have no room to talk about other people being sick in the head when you pull stunts like this.

The difference, since you apparently need someone to actually point this out to you, is that Nam made an intentionally-exaggerated statement on a messageboard, rather than pulling a stunt to make it seem like what he was saying was an actual reality.  I realize it can sometimes be difficult to tell on the internet, but you would have done better simply asking him if he really thought that Christians should be deported so they can be persecuted instead of jumping to conclusions and doubling-down on Nam's attitude.  Instead, you proceeded to shoot off your mouth and have now demonstrated the real reason why you made such a big fuss about Nam's statement to begin with - namely, so you can use it as a fig leaf for your ridiculous claims about what atheists want.

On the bright side, those despots were nice enough not to drown everyone on the planet. Kudos to them.

Subjectivity is a weakness you are so full of.
If that's the only retort you can come up with, then it's obvious you're not willing to listen.  And if you're not willing to listen to others, then don't expect any of us to care what you say.  Or about any faked-up 'outrage' you claim to have.  Whether you're willing to admit it or not, we both know that this was about taking advantage of an opportunity to justify your preconceived notions about atheists, rather than genuine outrage because you really thought Nam was calling for forced deportation of Christians and all the rest.

@Sword: If you feel that this pastors actions were justified and not an offensive stunt, why don't you explain why you feel that way, and why others are wrong to find it distasteful.

Explaining your feelings and rationalizations is going to be a lot more productive than arguing with Nam[1].
 1. If you're going for entertaining rather than productive then go right ahead. I'm pretty sure Nam loves arguing with people and it's fun to watch.

Im an Asshole yeah....

-Nam

Christianity will reign supreme on this earth and all unbelievers will be subject to us. That's Bible.

You will be judged by us. Then, you, along with all other unbelievers will be cast into the Lake of Fire. Thats a day I look forward to.  Then all this meaningless twaddle of yours will be burned up in smoke and your sad little rants will be annihilated.

Oh dear oh dear.... are we getting annoyed Nam?  It seems as though you cant handle any intelligent conversation.  Im glad youre getting annoyed, you deserve it. I hope you get even more angry with my replies because unlike you, I have self control and an arsenal of knowledge far superior to yours. I can wipe out anything you claim and crush every single word you say. I am the SwordOfGod.

Feel the pain knucklehead.

The only thing I disliked with your comment was you inserting into my comment and not referencing that those were your words. When we do that to others, we state we did it.

And you couldn't win against me even if I were dead. You have the debating skills of an amoeba -- I take that back but only because I am insulting the amoeba.

You're so hard up on us following the rules yet here you are preaching, which is breaking the rules also, does not answer anything I said. So, not only preaching but a nonsense reply. But it fits because you are nonsense.

So how does any of this ft in with the notion of a "loving god"?  For that matter, how does this fits in with "god/christianity gives us morality"?  There are few things more hateful than "looking forward" to someone's unending punishment.

I am not Christlike, I am like King David... I will strike you who strike me. I will fight those who fight me and I will swear and insult those who swear and Insult me.

So, tough if you fucking pagans dont like it.
