Paul Walker killed in car crash
« on: November 30, 2013, 10:51:21 PM »
Just heard about this. For what they were intended as (pure escapism), I thought the F&F movies were quite good.

I guess a small element or irony to the death.

The 2010 world cup was ruined for me by that slippery bastard Paul.

I always thought he was a mediocre actor but I always enjoyed his films.

Why?

Because they're the WBC.  What other reasons do you need?
Being a Christian, I've made my decision. That decision offers no compromise; therefore, I'm closed to anything else.

Why?

That was my thought but then they'd picket a bottle of urine if it'd get them attention.

Never heard of him. Too apathetic to Google.
When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle. Then I realised that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me.

Dying in a vehicular conflagration would rank right up at the top of the shitty ways to die poll, IMHO...

Media Attention. Hoping to piss off someone enough to do something they can sue them for; the real reason they exist.
An Omnipowerful God needed to sacrifice himself to himself (but only for a long weekend) in order to avert his own wrath against his own creations who he made in a manner knowing that they weren't going to live up to his standards.

And you should feel guilty for this. Give me money.

Debating the tastefulness of including a car crash and death in the currently-filming edition of Fast & Furious ...

Seems rather insular, although to be expected, that they would re-consider such a scene after somebody involved in the franchise dies in this manner. Presumably the fact that hundreds of others die all over the world every day in this manner has not previously prompted this concern.

Definitie articles aren't used as much in English (pas "the English", vous voyez).
You believe evolution and there is no evidence for that. Where is the fossil record of a half man half ape. I've only ever heard about it in reading.

No, they aren't, but when someone does use articles the meaning becomes mysteriously specific. I think it is the very Italian-New-Jersey-Tony-Soprano quality.

The tastes of the public are indignation are not driven by reason. If they were, religion wouldn't exist.
