To Stave Off Decline, Churches Attract New Members With Beer

Quote
With mainline religious congregations dwindling across America, a scattering of churches is trying to attract new members by creating a different sort of Christian community. They are gathering around craft beer.

They really are getting desperate... Sucks for them.
The truth is absolute. Life forms are specks of specks (...) of specks of dust in the universe.
Why settle for normal, when you can be so much more? Why settle for something, when you can have everything?
We choose our own gods.

They are not going to give up the gravy train without a fight.

"Taste Great / Less Filling" will be the next religious war. ;)
Yo, put that in your pipe and smoke it.  Quit ragging on my Lord.

Tide goes in, tide goes out !!!

All those calories.

A god is like a rock: it does absolutely nothing until someone or something forces it to do something. The only capability the rock has is doing nothing until another force compels it physically to move.

The right to be heard does not automatically include the right to be taken seriously.

And the irony that the puritanical religious were the driving force of the temperance movement for, oh, a few hundred years.

But religion will change and adapt any way it needs to in order to survive.  Evolution works.
