It gives other people a way to appreciate their own lives even more.
At least it serves a purpose. Simply saying, "You got cancer for no reason. Oh well. That's life" shows a lack of empathy.
At least in our worldview the cancer serves a purpose and we can give the children a reason to celebrate in Heaven.
An atheistic worldview is just "tough shit."
I have just arrived home after returning our friends dogs to them.
We have been looking after them for the last 4 weeks or so due to them being permanently at the hospital while their 2 year old daughter has the first course of treatment for leukemia. She is now at home but will be back and forth to the hospital constantly for years to come. So far though, all looks well.
Now my point is- How dare you quote this disgusting nonsense. You are sick if you think there can be any reason at all to give a 2 year old cancer.I have to second what Jag said at this point- seek medical help. Your view of the world is seriously twisted.
What the fuck do you think a 2 year old would celebrate in heaven? losing her mum, dad, brother, dogs- how the hell would that make a little girl happy?
I really have to question if you truly think about the crap you type.
Do you ever leave your house and look at what happens in the world?(or do you just look for symbols everywhere)
seriously, try a reality check on yourself.
