Finding posts
« on: October 22, 2013, 04:19:51 PM »
Is there any way of quickly finding responses to your posts? (besides being alerted to the thread). Some mornings a thread has progressed several pages and it's a pest scrolling through to find a specific post. Sometimes I just do a Ctr F word search for "magicmiles"[1]

That "new replies to your posts" thing doesn't even mean what it says. It happens with every new post on a thread that you have posted on, regardless of whether that new post is a reply to one of yours.

If you click on your name and then show posts, you can see a chronological list of your posts.  Not what you wanted, but at least something.

Thanks Jetson, I have used that to good effect on occasions. But they don't help much when the thread has exploded and the response can be 4 pages away,

It's hardly a big problem, I just like to whinge sometimes.

It's a bitch getting rid of them. I click on links I don't participate/read just to get rid of them[1] and people think, or may think I read their topics, when I don't.
