San Antonio Discriminates Against Christians
« on: September 24, 2013, 01:20:03 PM »
Saw a link to this on Faithbook, er... I mean Facebook;

http://eaglerising.com/1866/san-antonio-discriminates-christians/

smh at the arrogance demonstrated by these "persecuted" christians (they aren't concerned at all about the effect of this law on Jews, Muslims, or Mormons)

There's a youtube vid of a CBN "news" report a ways down in the comment section - they'll probably just change the graphics & run it on Faux News also...

If I didn't know the origin of this article I wouldn't be able to tell if it was a POE or not.

Edit: Scrolled through the comments. Just....Christ.

Leave nothing to chance. Overlook nothing. Combine contradictory observations. Allow yourself enough time. -Hippocrates of Cos

That article and the comments section gave me a headache...  :blank:

"They're  discriminating against us by not allowing us to  discriminate against others anymore"!  Do they ever listen to themselves?
Being a Christian, I've made my decision. That decision offers no compromise; therefore, I'm closed to anything else.

Wow, the comment section is ... unpleasant.
My tolerance for BS is limited, and I use up most of it IRL.

the whole site is ugly. There is a commenter named Richard Holmes[1] who keeps saying one group or another should be "eliminated" or "eradicated entirely from the face of the earth" or somehow removed.

love thy enemy indeed. Almost makes me wish there were a god to set these idiots straight.

Stories and comments like that are why the rest of the world thinks most (if not all) americans are retarded. You should really try to do something about that.
The truth is absolute. Life forms are specks of specks (...) of specks of dust in the universe.
Why settle for normal, when you can be so much more? Why settle for something, when you can have everything?
We choose our own gods.

How dare a city want their politicians and other people getting the city's money to treat everyone with equal respect? And the nerve of conservative Christians saying that people should not be discriminated based on their beliefs. cough atheists cough

But damn, they do so want to be able to freely make every who doesn't agree with them miserable, don't they? I think my favorite comment is the lady who said that Obama was a homosexual and a Muslim......Yeah, Islam is sooooo accepting of teh gay.

Apparently the president has a fake wife, two fake kids and a illegal immigrant transvestite dog that is passing for black to get the generous affirmative action checks the government sends out to everyone.

Luckily, Jesus is coming back soon. And his first stop is San Antonio, probably to ask what the hell the white people did with all the native folks who used to live in the area. &)
Extraordinary claims of the bible don't even have ordinary evidence.

Kids aren't paying attention most of the time in science classes so it seems silly to get worked up over ID being taught in schools.

Wow - I don't pay much attention to the local new here in San Antonio - that one flew right by me!  I say good riddance to the open bigotry and discrimination shown recently by some in our city government positions.  I doubt it will go away, but at least there is something in place to shut it down when it rears it's horrendous face.

BTW - I believe San Antonio is now majority Hispanic, which is typically largely Catholic.  In my personal view, the Hispanic Catholics are easy-going, with a "live, and let live" attitude overall.  It's the mega churches of various evangelical varieties that keep the bigotry alive and kicking.
