For some reason this all made me wonder how you sneeze in different languages. "Ah-choo!" in English, in Polish it's pronounced as, roughly, "a-psheek"...anyone know some others?

Polish also says "knock-knock" as "pook-pook," correct?

My father is Polish/Ukranian.  He often sneezes like this:  "Ah--SH1T!!"  (no i'm not kidding)
It's one of the reasons I'm an atheist today.  I decided to take my religion seriously, and that's when it started to fall apart for me.

I can do quiet sneezes to where it sounds more like a hiccup.

This thread is about lab-grown dicks, not some mincy, old, British poof of an actor.

Let's get back on topic, please.

Yup, puk-puk, (rhymes with book rather than spook).

I say salud as well.
Extraordinary claims of the bible don't even have ordinary evidence.

Kids aren't paying attention most of the time in science classes so it seems silly to get worked up over ID being taught in schools.

My favorite replies to sneezes:
"Thanks for sharing"
"Nice catch!"
and if they sneeze more than once (my wife typically sneezes 2-3 times consecutively), "stop that!!"

Maybe I should say a hearty "No" right after I sneeze, so anyone who then follows with "god bless you" will have appropriately addressed me?

how about ...

neopagan: Ah-Choo
paleotheist: God bless you.
neopagen: provided he exists.
Science: I'll believe it when I see it
Faith: I'll see it when I believe it

^^^ You forget, I live in Oklahoma where gawd is best buddies with all the locals. I'd have a fight on my hands every spring!
If xian hell really exists, the stench of the burning billions of us should be a constant, putrid reminder to the handful of heavenward xians how loving your god is.  - neopagan

you'd have more than that on your hands if you don't use your elbow to cover your sneeze!!

Don't really know what the French use but I have heared "A votre santé"[1] ... though spoken rather mockingly ... so I don't know how common it is.
 1. lit: to your health

What in French is *not* spoken rather mockingly?

positive statements about France....sometimes.

I was going to say that, but it seemed like too much of a softball  :-)
