Yep. And the theists are deep into denial about that and similar trends: http://www.patheos.com/blogs/friendlyatheist/2015/05/18/yes-christianity-is-dying-and-conservative-leaders-are-avoiding-the-most-obvious-solution/
From the link; "When you think Christian, you think anti-gay, anti-women, anti-science, anti-sex, and anti-doubt.
". This is the thing that'll kill Christianity. Every time I think "Actually, Christianity has some good..", I remember the hate that is preached under the guise of 'love the sinner, hate the sin'. There are a lot of good Christian people doing good things through Christianity, such a pity their work is soiled by the negative impact of Christianity.
Even if Christianity stuck solely with "Love God and love your neighbour", it still advocates an imaginary friend over real people. Every avenue I go down now to see Christianity as a good thing comes to a dead end;
"Love God and love your neighbour" - Why doesn't this god show himself so we can love him?
Maybe God really can't make a world in where cancer doesn't exist - Why?
Maybe God's plan does call for child murder? - Explain yourself god.
Every road to salvage a solution for Christianity comes to a question that can't be answered and a conclusion that the whole thing is made up by people afraid that upon their death the universe carries on without them.
