Its all part of Satan's God's plan.
Jesus fulfilled many important messianic prophecies. He was a Jewish man born in Bethlehem who rode a donkey in his adult life. Hail the messiah!

Yep. And the theists are deep into denial about that and similar trends: http://www.patheos.com/blogs/friendlyatheist/2015/05/18/yes-christianity-is-dying-and-conservative-leaders-are-avoiding-the-most-obvious-solution/

I find it encouraging and also a bit worrying: as the Abrahamic fundies find themselves dwindling in numbers and influence, they may be more inclined to act on their apocalyptic fantasies. The extremists (be they Christian, Muslim or Jewish) are already primed by their thoroughly irrational SPAG; if they decide their backs are really to the wall, they might get even crazier than they already are.

The net has done more to open people up to the world around them.  It is becoming more and more difficult for the cult to keep control of the sheep.

^^^ Agreed. Instant access to information and now cell phones (computers) are cool to kids and becoming increasingly more capable; even the poorest countries will have access. Unlike most current trend lines, I think (hope) it's only a couple more generations away when it dramatically begins to drop and there will probably be another civil war between American ISIS (Christians not willing to go without a fight or Texas of today ironically being flooded) and the other rational thinking and remaining spiritualists of all genres who understand each other and don't cause a riot.

Then ask yourself, which party is trying to reign the internet in and control it?

There is no such thing. There is only the Democrat party and the Republican party. Which one is trying to keep the internet open and unrestricted and which one is trying to regulate it?

If those are the only options, then the answer is 'neither'.

The Republicans want to keep the Internet unrestricted and as a result tremendously closed.
The Democrats want to restrict what providers can do and thus keep the Internet open.

Well, they are experts in engaging in denialism when encountering something they don't like.

From the link; "When you think Christian, you think anti-gay, anti-women, anti-science, anti-sex, and anti-doubt.". This is the thing that'll kill Christianity. Every time I think "Actually, Christianity has some good..", I remember the hate that is preached under the guise of 'love the sinner, hate the sin'. There are a lot of good Christian people doing good things through Christianity, such a pity their work is soiled by the negative impact of Christianity.

Even if Christianity stuck solely with "Love God and love your neighbour", it still advocates an imaginary friend over real people. Every avenue I go down now to see Christianity as a good thing comes to a dead end;

"Love God and love your neighbour" - Why doesn't this god show himself so we can love him?
Maybe God really can't make a world in where cancer doesn't exist - Why?
Maybe God's plan does call for child murder? - Explain yourself god.

Every road to salvage a solution for Christianity comes to a question that can't be answered and a conclusion that the whole thing is made up by people afraid that upon their death the universe carries on without them.

If your god cannot physically appear before us, then it is imaginary.

It's as simple as that.

If Biblegod showed itself, I would not love it. It's the epitome of hate.
