Reading through your list, there's some stuff I didn't expect, some stuff on there I loved and enjoyed.

1.	Seriously. It had David Hasslehoff, Alec Baldwin, Motorhead and Spongebob saves the world by ripping off Twisted Sister and performing an awesome guitar solo, Bill and Ted would be so proud. Click here for awesomeness.
2.	Described as Pulp Fiction on Crack...it's one of those insane Japanese films. It has Vinnie Jones in it for some reason, but worth seeing.

Oldboy was on my top 100 but in the last day, after looking over 400+ other movies, it and 28 others had to go for those films. But I have another list of my favorite foreign films, and that's on the list, I believe.

That I can understand, there's so many good films out there, I guess you can only have room for so many. Sure I only came up with about 40, but that was just straight off the top of my head, there's probably a lot of movies that have escaped me that should be included and totalling more than 100. Heck, I joked about the Phantom Menance, but didn't put the original Star Wars trilogy.

Oldboy did it for me because I love weird Asian movies, hence Tales of Two Sisters (another Korean one) and Survive Style 5+ (Japanese) are on there as well.

Looking at your list, I didn't figure you to be somebody who'd like Pride and Prejudice. I'm not much of a romance dude, but I admit, I enjoyed it too. However, I am kind of put off by watching the movie versions of Time Traveller's Wife and Never Let Me Go, because I have the feeling the movie industry would make them into something cheesy, even Never Let Me Go, which was about friendship (but was also about a dystopia, to me, focusing on the 'friendship' side, which the trailers seem to depict, would be like making 1984 into a romance), speaking of which one of Kazuo Ishiguro's other books was adapted into a movie, which was The Remains of the Day, which was a good movie (decent cast list as well, Anthony Hopkins, Christopher Reeve, Hugh Grant and some others I can't name off that top of my head), but missed out some important things from the book I felt, hence I've not listed it. I would like to see a movie adaption of his 'An Artist of a Floating World', it's a World War 2 novel set in Japan.

If you don't have an account at http://imdb.com you should. I actually was going to make my top 100 my top 500 but I thought that would be a bit too much. Also, probably easier.

We both seem to have the same eclectic taste in films but you should watch more foreign films from multitudes of countries. One I recommend and going to be on my top 100 part deux: The Overture -- I found it quite enjoyable. And though I have seen other films from Thailand, that one stuck with me.

I do watch foreign films, I just generally don't like them.  So the list only partially reflects what I watch.  Thanks for the suggestion though.  I do plan to see a few more Bergman films (talking to member Doubt about that recently) and I have a whole list of samurai films in my netflix queue.

I just DVR'd 20 films over the next 8 days from TCM.

Funny thing is though, I have currently 29 DVR'd, and have about 30 DVD'S I recently purchased I haven't watched yet.

Though I have the Director's cut of Blade Runner, I never really got into it too much. And I do not like Apocalypse Now. I've seen three versions of that film, I didn't care for any of them. I put it up there with The Godfather III, and Batman & Robin.

Good Vietnam films: Platoon, Full Metal Jacket, and Pork Chop Hill.

I effing hate spike lee.  His movies suck.  The only movie of his I didn't completely hate was Inside Man.

The only director I can think of who sucks even more is Tyler Perry.  Who keeps giving that no-talent money to make shitty movies with his name all over them?  And how pretentious and egotistical is that?

Never seen it nor any inclination to. I know the history behind it and that's good enough. Perhaps someday but I doubt it. Hell, I didn't see Casablanca until last year, and I found it average. I mean the music was great and almost every line was quotable but overall I found it average.

I have seen it, and don't take this too hard but I also found this average.

In a world with Uwe Boll, Jason Friedberg, Aaron Seltzer, and Michael "butt of all film jokes" Bay, I would consider Tyler Perry a lesser evil.

That being said, I've always imagined him labeling all of his personal stuff with "Tyler Perry's" tags...I'm betting he has a car with that painted on it.

I've not seen every spike lee joint[1] produced.  At some point you have to say you gave the guy a shot and cut your losses.  Malcom X is one of them I've not.  Given the fact that Lee made it, I give it a low probability of not sucking.   Couple that with zero interest in the man and it adds up to a movie I wouldn't watch even if it was on TNT, Mrs Screwtape was out of town and I had nothing else to do.

Nope.  Perry sucks harder than all of them put together.  I'd much rather watch transformers with megan fox shoving her ass into the camera and stuff blowing up everywhere than any of Tyer Fucking Perry's Medea bullshit.  Or any of the bullshit movies he did with janet jackson.  That reminds me how much I hate the whole jackson family too.  Dammit.

   I'm not big on director's cuts. The original theater version is fine with me. An example is Blade Runner. The director's cut dispels with the Harrison Ford voice overs but I watched it in the theaters with the voice overs and I prefer that version. That being said, some of my favorites:

good point.  I may dislike Lee's films, but *maybe* he's an alright person.  I suspect he's a dick, but I have no idea.  Polanski raped someone and got away with it.  Like Howard Stern, I don't get the people who work with him.
