Add a Philosophy Section

I think it would be awesome to have a Philosophy section under the General Discussion Zone.

What topics do you think would be discussed there that don't already fit well enough within such topics as General Religious Discussion?

There are a lot of philosophical topics that do not fit into discussions of religion. Generally speaking, there is Metaphysics, Epistemology, Ethics, Moral Theory, Logic, and (some would say) Psychology.

Several of those are closely tied with religion.  But for those that are not...well, I'd love a Geology forum, too.  Is it appropriate to the site?

take a notion and add pressure from society's expectation and the heat of debate, over time the original notion will metamorph into something a lot harder but if you look closely you'll see the original grains of ideas but they will be warped out of shape to be almost unrecognisable...

I never took any philosophy classes when I went to school.  I'm currently reading 501 Things You Should Have Learned About Philosophy.  It's very simple and works for my migraine brain.
It doesn't make sense to let go of something you've had for so long.  But it also doesn't make sense to hold on when there's actually nothing there.

I think philosophy very much has to do with the subject of this site. Let's add it!

Could have a "Philosophy & Science" section.

Let's get back on topic, please.

There's already a "Science" section, just rename it "Philosophy & Science". That's what I meant by my first comment.

How about a scientific philosophy section? &)
When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle. Then I realised that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me.

Being new, I was looking for a philosophy section, lol. Right? Where do we discuss deeper thought, say, regarding common sense? Things like that does correlate with religion.

Well, I think there's a "hidden" atheist section (could be wrong?), I guess one could discuss such topics there.

What does one do to access this hidden atheists forum?  I thought this entire website was atheistic in nature? Or was I incorrect in this assumption?
