I liked the column alot Nam.  He is a pretty liberal columnist and as a pretty liberal person I agree with him most of the time.  To write about the selflessness of firefighters, and how the horrible idea (sarcasm) of taxes pays for them, while  conservatives like Ayn Rand and business execs believe looking out for number one is the answer for society, it is the type of argument people need to consider.
