Ah yes, the corpse flower in the national gardens of Meise.
Went to the gardens earlier this year ... needed pictures for my daughter's confirmation.

Her what? I hear you ask. Yes, she technically is still catholic. Left the choice with her and she opted to be confirmed. Though, few things have pushed her towards atheism as much as studying the catechism.

Those gardens are quite nice, actually. They have this greenhouse devoted to the evolution of plants, starting with bare rocks, along mosses and ferns to grasses and eventually flowers and trees. With wooden cutouts of various animals to indicated when they appeared. Humans of course, only appearing right next to the doors leading to the next greenhouse. Now, THAT made my kids go 'wow'.
