I love Lewis Black. A brave Jewish atheist who does not suffer fools of any stripe.  :D
Extraordinary claims of the bible don't even have ordinary evidence.

Kids aren't paying attention most of the time in science classes so it seems silly to get worked up over ID being taught in schools.

In my experience hostility is usually due to a very weak hold on a pivotal point of self-examination.   I had hostility toward homosexuals just before I found my biases to be
completely without merit.   So I welcome all hostility as a sign of impending change.

Do you mean to say that you don't think Lewis Black is Jewish?  :?

I like the line: God works in mysterious dickish ways.
When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle. Then I realised that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me.

Great! Now we can do a study! Can you just upload a couple recorded back and forth conversations: One with your step son, and another one with your Heavenly Father so we can observe the communications. This ought to be great, the first study of communications with the Heavenly Father in the history of humanity. You'll win a Nobel Prize for this!

I've covered the complete record in more detail than I ever had for anyone.
And I already have my prize.  I don't need TNT money as well.  The best
results come from intrinsic motivation.  Better results than prize money.

No, we need the voice recordings because we need to compare equal mediums to determine whether you communicate with your step son or Heavenly Father better. Just go ahead and upload the conversations to youtube and we can begin the study!

But isn't Jesus also god? What exactly is the relationship between the two?

It's unique, so it's not exactly like anything else.
But Jesus said the was the visible part of His Father.
So that's what we have to work with.

We can only assume that there was a Jesus and He said things that got recorded accurately.  Same as I assume you are real and mean what you typed.

You're basing your world view on an assumption?  Accept this fact:  Not one word of a Jesus character was ever recorded at the time.  It was all cobbled together and placed on his lips decades later.

The more I read your answers the more you become (to me) an escapist.

wishful thinker, dreamer daydreamer, woolgatherer -
someone who indulges in idle or absentminded daydreaming

Likely your taking somebodys word for that who you haven't spoken with either.
According to such researchers, none of the manuscripts we have were written
while Jesus was alive.  Most were written by his followers after the resurrection.

I think SW is a technician by trade, but not a researcher. He separates science from reality, so he can't be a scientist.  His work and his everyday life depend on science he does not really believe in. That's how he can operate his car and his computer without connecting cars or computers to the same scientific method that underlies the theory of evolution and the big bang.....

Pre-history does not fall under the guise of science.

Thanks for the corrections and modifications to my "quote".
I miss the "you are" contraction a lot.

SW, I've asked you this before: could you please provide a specific example of what you consider "pre-history"? You tend to make general statements but neglect to provide details. If you'd do so in this instance, I'd appreciate it.

You've been fooled into believing that anything
a scientist says is science. Even when it is only
scientist approved, Science-Fiction.

Again, a specific instance of someone who disagrees with you "being fooled" would be helpful.
