common sense atheism

I dunno if anyone else has seen this blog, but I like it.  It went defunct about a year ago, but there is still a lot of good stuff to read. This is the blogger's intro, wherein he details his journey from fundie to atheist and rationalist.

What's true is already so. Owning up to it does not make it worse.

Very interesting, especially the part where he talks about being glad he used to be a believer. It's sometimes difficult for me to relate to the religious belief, because I've never had it. I don't know what it's like to believe.

But, I'm not unhappy about it either.
Actually it doesn't. One could conceivably be all-powerful but not exceptionally intelligent.

Just visited the website and read his introduction. Not sure what to make of it. It seems he is not being very logical and that his time as a believer really messed him up. There is a part of him that clearly can not let go of the brain washing he received for so many years. I actually feel pretty sad for him.
