Book Club?
« on: June 19, 2013, 12:45:27 AM »
Have forum members ever had a book club type of thing where people read the same book together & discuss it?
It doesn't make sense to let go of something you've had for so long.  But it also doesn't make sense to hold on when there's actually nothing there.

Never ever been a member of a book club. It would be interesting I suppose. ;) However, I am easily distracted by other books, I could start one then end up reading another, I'm not really all that disciplined.

Besides isn't the first rule of book club, you don't talk about book club?

I like the idea, at least in theory.
My tolerance for BS is limited, and I use up most of it IRL.

it might be difficult to find a book that everyone can be bothered to read.

What sort of genre are you thinking?
