Militant Druids, whatever next?

Stonehenge should display fake human remains, druid says

A druid leader is calling for fake, rather than real, human remains to be put on display at Stonehenge. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-wiltshire-22438232
Quote
In an open letter, King Arthur Uther PendragonWiki criticised English Heritage for the "macabre manner" it plans to display "ancestral remains".

In 2011, he lost a High Court bid to have bones, found in 2008, reburied.

English Heritage said the remains were not from the 2008 excavation and their "presentation, treatment and storage" would follow strict UK guidelines.
[…]
Mr Pendragon said visitors would be "appalled" and unless "models and replicas" were used he could "not rule out non-violent direct action against the proposals".

What is it in the religious that makes them think that only they are right and their wishes take precedence over everything else?
Nobody says “There are many things that we thought were natural processes, but now know that a god did them.”

I've been thinking the same thing about Richard the 3rd.

Most of the arguments about where he should be (re)buried seem to have been based around the fact that he was catholic and should therefore be buried in a catholic place of worship

One thing all gods have in common is a thirst for blood.

Yes, this discussion pleases Khorne. Blood for the bloodgod!

On a more serious note, why do religious people want their stuff displayed all the time? Why not just enjoy that good'ol religious feeling of smug righteousness in the comfort and privacy of private establishments?

Just a guess, but I'm thinking that it's a much more enjoyable feeling if other people can see you being pious and, well, righteous. Then you get to be smug about it. Irritating little &%#@&s, aren't they?

I kinda wanna spank 'em and tell them to grow up, just not quite enough to go to jail for assault over it.
