U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry

I'd like to see the current time path coming off of 2002-2008 Bush-less and 4 years of a US President John Kerry.  Charisma notwithstanding, I believe our timeline missed a good president.   Good first speech.   I believe as Secretary of State we will see what we missed.

Agreed.  The 2004 election was very close.  Ohio came into play for the win.  GOP/Karl Rove did their thing along with the Swift Boat people to make sure Bush boy got in again...or for the 1st time...depending on how you look at it.  Think of the lives that might have been saved if Kerry had gotten in and goten us out of themesses Bush put us into.  Who knows how the financial thing would have turned out.  Yes, history missed a step there.
