I've tried to access the old forum and cannot.  Does anyone else have this problem?

 Yea, I get it too Traveler. Every time I try to post a second response in under 45 seconds. Go figure. Since I seldom have much to say it happens more times than not.

We can't. The forums sit in directories on a server. There is a layer of control that the Admins cannot get to - it's called a Cpanel and it's the interface to the raw guts of it all. Only the person who paid for the hosting account can get to it, and that's the only way to fix the other forum and upgrade this one.

If you want to complain you should email this guy -

If enough people do this he may act ...

Do something about it. If I can't get anyone to start another forum then at least the community can simply write an email to the guy. That doesn't cost anything. Maybe if he gets 100 emails he'll pay attention. If the community can't even do something that simple then I'm not going to feel bad for you if this place shuts down.
