Thank you for posting the links. I just finished reading "After Tragedy, Nonbelievers Find Other Ways To Cope", and hearing their stories broke my heart, not only because I feel empathy for them, but knowing that one day I will have to deal with the fact that when my parents die, I will never see them again.
If there is anything I hope theists can take away from this article is that unless you're damn sure the individual grieving holds the same belief system, don't ever throw out the "god has a plan" line.
