House science committee for the 113th congress

Not sure where this goes so here goes:

(1) republicans just can't help themselves.  Phil Gingrey (R-GA) said that Todd Akin was partially right about his rape claim.  And this guy is an actual doctor.  They just can't help themselves.  I don't understand it.  I guess he is safe in Ga.

(2) Paul Broun (R-GA) has stated that man and dinos lived together and evolution, Big Bang Theory, and embryology are from the pits of hell.  And the Earth is only about 9000 yrs old.

(3) Both are on the science committee in the house for the 113th congress.

Makes one proud. :-[

And of course it is chaired by Lamar Smith (R-Cowboybootland), who thankfully acknowledges the existence of global climate change. But denies it is caused by humans.
