OK, I vote No since I find no religion few religions to be a force of good for the world. The Catholic Church is just one of many religious organizations that I find to bring nothing of value to society. (and yes, your religion is on that list also)

As growing up a catholic in my youth, I found I was totally appalled when I learned of the Crusades, and my high school team was-- you guessed it-- the Crusaders. i also went to a church named after the dickhead St. Thomas Moore.

Then when I learned of the countless attempts at blocking education due to scripture, I learned that catholicism, or any religion, can only block advancement in all subject matter.

most of the problems I have with the RCC I also have with every other flavor of religion.  other flavors of xianity are no better or worse than the RCC.  An one thing you can say for the catholics, they kept the lid on spag for 1600 years. give or take.

the Catholic church is better in some ways than other denoms and worse in others. As you stated about the SPAG. Also I find it kind of appalling for other denoms to use the book the RCC compiled and then to shit on the RCC it just defies logic. They also try to deal with the growing knowledge bank that we have by not being bound by what the bible says (even if they just transfer the power to a human bean). But my lawd, some of those stances they take.........i just have no word for. Anti-condom? Really?
