So, I was reading this thread and discovered the real names of two people.

If I may ask, without violating the purpose of a username, what are your real names?

My real name is Emilie Nicole (last name omitted)[1]

I ask just because I'm nosy.   

1.	I prefer the spelling of Emily better. I've considered legally changing it.

Technically though, its Bob. Well, technically it is Robert, but even I don't answer to that.

My middle name is my mothers maiden name, so I won't bother mentioning it.

I wish it was Nicole.

Legally I have changed my name.
My birth certificate is a different story...
can I address you as 'nosy' now?

First name Christopher; I usually go by Chris. I generally use a form of Wright on forums to preserve some anonymity and because I like getting some mileage out of my middle name

Not afraid to use my full name 'cause it's all over the 'net anyway. But "Nam" is my actual nickname offline. Everyone calls me "Nam" but family, who call me "David" and those rare few non-family members who also call me "David" or "Nammy" out of affection (yes, there are people who have affection for me who I am not related to and did not force to; and yes, they must be insane). I have had my nickname for almost 16 years.

And just to let everyone know: I prefer "Nam".

Well, "Price" is generally a Welsh name too, so there must be some in your ancestry. It's a form of Ap (son of) Rhys. Or, at least, that's what I read somewhere. I'm not Welsh either. I'm Polish, and my name is Ivona.

Price has other origins, but you are correct. Price can be English as well, the blood in my family is English, Irish and Greek, but as far as I am aware no Welsh, though my aunt did marry a Welsh bloke, but if that makes me Welsh, it also makes me Sri Lankan and Indonesian. (as I have aunts of each nationality)

Also, Bryn can be Scandinavian too, usually derived from Brynhilda, but normally it's a girl's name, in Welsh however, it's a guy's name and it means 'hill', so it doesn't really mean anything interesting.
