Personally, I think that the irony of the whole situation is hilarious. The United States government chooses to readily censor and obtain private and personal information by nearly any means necessary (obviously most often w/out warrants, or w/out probable cause to obtain the warrant if they do have one) under the Patriot Act. The same conservative people who created these reprehensible laws bitch and moan out their delusional asses about "preserving our freedoms!", yet when there's a mass killing such as the recent one (or Va. Tech, Columbine, etc.), and a socially liberal group like Anonymous does a simple, yet illegal, act to protect paying respect to the affected peoples no one has shit to say.
No one should either because you know if it was your six or seven year old who got shot, you wouldn't want these idiots at their funeral's either. So, in my opinion, this little action by Anonymous is nothing more than something you would compare to a high school prank that simply happens to reap multiple benefits.
