CNN anchor reaches her limit for religious bigotry & lying

I don't have much use for the mainstream media in the US. But occasionally there are welcome moments of sanity, such as Ms. Costello (of CNN) calling the AFA's (American Family Association) spokesman Bryan Fischer a liar on national TV.

Alas, such instances are few and far between.

Methinks the gentleman doth protest too much.

Seriously, he might be convinced of the rightness of his cause, but anyone who listened carefully to what he said will recognize that he has a pretty clear agenda.

Yep, he does have a pretty clear agenda: to rid the US of everyone not like him.

Sure there are "risks" involved with having gay sex. There are "risks" involved with having straight sex. And WTF is the gay "lifestyle"?

Most of the gay people I know go to work, pay their bills and enjoy spending time with friends and family...what's the problem?

The single ones work or go to school and go out looking for fun...just like the single straight people I know...Some do drugs. Some are sluts. Some are straight edge and go to church. JUST LIKE STRAIGHT PEOPLE DO.

I guess it's worse cause they have the gay. No excuse for that.  &)
I show affection for my pets by holding them against me and whispering, "I love you" repeatedly as they struggle to break free.

And WTF is the gay "lifestyle"?

It's how anti-gay bigots dismiss homosexual preference as a choice.  If they portray two guys loving each other as little more than a hobby, then it should be something they can just walk away from.

I always thought it meant, good taste in furniture and clothes? Perhaps that's something else...?

If I had to guess from the context of his comments on that show, he thinks the gay agenda is to make everyone think there's nothing wrong with being gay, and that they're willing to silence any group or organization which says otherwise.  What that says about his own outlook and agenda is disgusting.  His statement that unless a group is willing to capitulate to what he demands, that they "support the gay agenda" and thus are his enemies, is worse.
