...at least for the moment. If you don't remember me, it's okay, it's been a while. If you do remember me, you probably see me on Facebook and other more mundane venues.
I first found this forum (well, the old and currently retired version) on Tax Day 5 1/2 years ago, and I had no idea what kind of a wild ride I was in for. The upheavals haven't yet stopped, either; I now live a thousand miles from my former home in Missouri and have rebooted my life on most levels. And I'm about to commemorate this journey by doing the most rational thing I can think to do...
Writing a musical.
Yes, I'm writing a musical set in the new skeptics movement. I would say "about" the movement, but the story is really more about someone who is on the perimeter and can't seem to find a more centered place, like, well, me. I'm really just wanting to tell a story and I don't care to promote agendas, so it will be heavy on character development and light on fact and rigorous argument. The closest thing I can promise is a character who is annoyed that the other character is light on fact and rigorous argument. I will not let my play be determined by fact-checkers.

Other than that, how's everyone doing? I'm doing some decent work these days and will be performing my one-bear show in Nashville in a couple of weeks. Talk to me... if you remember me, that is.
