Just what are our gay soldiers suposedly doing to helpless birds???

Thousands of conservative Christians gathered Saturday on Independence Mall in Philadelphia to pray for the future of the United States in the weeks before the presidential election...

And speaker Cindy Jacobs has blamed a mysterious Arkansas bird-kill last year on Obama's repeal of the policy known as "don't ask, don't tell," which allows gays and lesbians to serve openly in the military.

Why did God kill the birds in Arkansas. of all places? It would have made more sense if they dropped out of the sky over San Francisco, or Greenwich Village. I wish the article gave more details, because I'd really like to see Cindy's "logic" laid out here...

You have to wonder how effective prayer will be here considering Obama already ended up in office and that God continues churning out gays who can't just suddenly pull a 180 on their sexual proclivities when faced with his sycophants' hysterical chantings. It's clearly all been a part of God's Plan (tm) all along! But apparently his followers are at odds with him...

Correlation is not causality.  I'm sure there have been other mysterious bird die-offs elsewhere in the nation; blaming this one on allowing homosexuals to serve openly in the military is laughable.

Honestly, it reminds me of how gays are constantly being blamed for AIDS. There are far more probable and sensible reasons for its transmission to humans such as hunters cutting monkeys up for bushmeat, but no - clearly it only happened because the gays were having buttsecks with them!

Irrelevant - any link between the two has to be proved in order to be valid.  For example, I could just as easily say that the sun rising in the east and setting in the west was the cause of bird die-offs, and it would have just as much (or little, rather) truth value as blaming it on "teh gayz".

(yes, I did catch the sarcasm from you and others.  I find the real-life attitude laughably bad, but that doesn't stop it from existing)
