I wonder what this implies for science and what religous people will say of it.

So at least some of the "missing matter" of the universe has simply been spread too thin for us to easily detect? Interesting, if it pans out.

I'm sure there's at least one fundy out there who will crow pathetically about scientists "changing their minds again", and that this somehow invalidates all current cosmology and (somehow) biology, therefore God!!
