The myth of Jesus
« on: September 19, 2012, 12:34:22 PM »
Jesus could be a copy of other deities.

This picture illustrates this point:

I'd like to read other people's opinions. There are people here who did more research.

What do you think of that picture?
Religion: The belief that an all powerful God or gods created the entire universe so that we tiny humans can be happy. And we also make war about it.

Horus kicks ass. ;D

I've always said Jesus was just the last in a long line of god/man myths.  The Dark Ages destroyed knowledge and the story took on historical properties and bam...we have this mess today that is religion.
Yo, put that in your pipe and smoke it.  Quit ragging on my Lord.

Thank you for considering my point of view; however wrong it may be to you.

Isis wasn't a virgin. She was a witch with necrophilia.
I show affection for my pets by holding them against me and whispering, "I love you" repeatedly as they struggle to break free.

I'd like to read other people's opinions.

Eschew Zeitgeist the Movie, for it is misleading.

kcrady used to recommend a site called the jesus puzzle.  I've never been to it, but hey, it comes kcrady approved.

What do you think of that picture?

Jesus doesn't look "Jewy" enough.

I am personally interested in the accuracy of this article about debunking the thought.

The fun thing is, this was created by an atheist as well. Basically I'm putting this out to come to the conclusion of how much or how little Jesus actually did resemble Horus, as there are multiple sources giving different information regarding Jesus and Horus.
