Priest Invokes Fifth Amendment In Testimony

William Lynch (great name for this) allegedly attacked a priest that was involved with Lynch and his little brother years ago in forcing a molestation with both boys.

"Lynch and his younger brother sued the Society of Jesus, Lindner's order, 15 years ago, alleging that the priest had raped them and forced them to have sex with each other when Lynch was 7 and his brother 4.

The case was settled for $625,000, and Lindner was removed from Loyola High School in Los Angeles, where he had been teaching. The church never informed law enforcement about the allegations." - Not a surprise, them not telling the authorities of course, but it appears that the diligent hiding techniques that the catholics use to hide guilty priests is no longer shy of the courtroom.

Typical, yes, but I still think that the frequent exposure of this asinine religious sect getting caught with the hand in the under-12 cookie jar time and time again is a huge step in the awareness portion of religious idiocy.

The child abuse victim, William Lynch, that punched the priest (whom his family had settled with for the tune of $625,000 years ago) was acquitted of assault against this priest.

THAT is great news. Not as great as seeing the priest arrested, but it's good that William is not prosecuted for hitting a man of the cloth, as it were. This type of situation is illegal in so many places, just because a "holy person" is assaulted.

However, it is really beyond my rage limit to know this priest is a)still a priest and b)is out free.

Hope these small steps finally lead to logic sometime in MY lifetime. ;)

I guess confession does not do the soul good.  Seems the Catholic Church is rotting from its core.  What a bunch of hypocrites.
