Yes.

Baby please don't go.
.............................................I'm completely serious.

I ask that you please consider completely dropping the cause of your exit (Whatever unjust, unacceptable, irritant you may perceive it to be)
I ask that you please return to a fresh start.

The forum will survive without you individually or collectively, but it will be diminished, .....it is diminished.

I do not want to address your "case" whatsoever, to do so would just arouse a stultifying emotional morass that has failed to do more than trigger your exits in the first place.

I don't want to apportion blame.
I don't want to re-engage any discussion about who killed whom ....that's sad, tragic, fundamentally injurious to the forum and fucking pointless.

I just want you back.

I hope you find a way to reset, reboot and return.

am I missing anyone?   ........Yes

I've been wondering what happened to Velkyn and Alzael myself. I didn't know Omen left as well. I only know of Nam.

I may need to chat with Omen and see what's up.

Damn! I was away for a few days and we have apparently had an episode. I do not want to lose any of the named people.

Nam is sometimes combative but he is often a thinker, Vel is a very shrewd lady, Omen is a fountainhead of information, Alzael too, is a valuable source of thought and information. All four have been contributors for which I held in esteem.

If you want to know why Nam left, please read this thread:

http://whywontgodhealamputees.com/forums/index.php/topic,23077.0.html

I don't know if Omensign left or not, but I have an alternate means of contacting him, so I'll be asking in the near-future.

I don't know about anybody else.

Get your asses back here! Not gonna take 'no' for an answer. You guys contribute well and I enjoy reading your posts and naturally we all love you, but in a non-creepy way. I hate the idea of you lot being chased away.

Lets put it this way guys, in my hands I have 2 items.

I'm sure you guys can see the connection, now, don't make me do it!  :)

Hmm. I had noticed Velkyn no longer posted, but hadn't noticed Omen and Alzael's absence.

I agree with the sentiments expressed here, the forum is poorer for your absence. Nam's also.

I'm just hoping they are taking a little time off and will come back eventually. I'll miss those guys though if they don't come back.

I still haven't gotten over Hermes being gone and it have been probably close to two years since he's been gone.

Yeah we're missing some others who were excellent contributors, or simply great fun to have around. Hermes was one, I also liked Agga, he was good fun, I don't think everybody liked his decisions as a global mod, but he contributed well to the forum positively I felt. Old Church Guy too, I wonder whatever happened to him? There's probably a whole list of people who have disappeared over the years who were great contributors and generally 'cool' people. I guess some people move on or just take breaks (like I did) but still, it's sad to see them go.

I liked Agga, but not so much as mod_13, but he was still a favorite of mine.

Others like crocoduck and Mr. Friday who have left, I miss, but others who are gone for a time, like TimtheSkeptic seem to come online out of the blue for a time being. I like Irish too - it's good to see him coming back every now and then.

Some people who seem to just disappear I like to think they are just taking care of more important (real life) matters. Perhaps some are students in college, or others are just concentrating on work or (in Tim's case) moving, etc. Saddly, some like Hermes seem to be gone for good, but right now I am going to optimistic and hope that Velkyn, Omen, Alz and Nam just need some time away, and will return at some point in the future.

What i find both interesting and extremely disturbing is that theists on the forum have been at least indirectly responsible for such a profound rift between like-thinking atheists.  Well... job well done I suppose.  All they need to do is show up here and we'll be at each others throats.  Some of the more aggressive long term members will leave, weakening the forum.  Pretty soon, WWGHA will be just another IGI.  Brilliant!

What amazes me is that the most intractable members on both sides of this 'politeness' issue cannot see that both (kittens and tigers) are two sides of the same damned coin.  Instead of the each seeing how the other serves a purpose on the forum, they seem to believe that the forum must be one way or the other.  What is the average IQ here... the average amount of schooling?  We couldn't work this out?  This isn't rocket surgery.

If you go to raptureready.com, you pretty much get banned after a couple posts.  What I originally liked about WWGHA was the agression against theists by people like Davedave and Velkyn.  I did not always agree with it, but I liked the fact that it was OK to do here - this was WWGHA, the intellectual wild wild west of atheist websites - if you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen - atheist, theist, witch - all fair game!   I even get a kick out of long time members going on and on about what the definition of is is, or some such nonsense.   I guess people just get on each other's nerves -  emergency rooms, moderators, admin, darwin's, pms - sigh -   ooo, you were too mean to me - call admin - ooo, that's not fair.   :?   If all these folks are going to a new website, I wish I could find it.

Omen you are aggressive sometimes. Does your leaving mean you concede defeat?
You do contribute something here ft

Nam, i am disappointed.

Velkyn leaving? Wtf.

It wont be.. The other forum is agnostic. This one is atheist.
