VATICAN CITY - The Vatican's number 2 accused the media on Monday of trying "to imitate Dan Brown" in their coverage of the VatiLeaks scandal and said the Roman Catholic Church's latest travails were part of the Devil's attempt to destabilize it.

It might help if they stopped having these 150 yo priests running their PR. It's definitely not doing them any favours.

I have to highlight another phrase, though it's already mentioned on the article:

"They (journalists) continue to invent fairytales and repeat legends," he said.

I was told this by a catholic relative that the corruption in the Catholic Church proves that the church is under attack from Satan, because it's the "One True church™." Yet he fails to recognize that every church has corruption and using that thought process proves that every church is the OTC. Kinda funny when the vast majoriety are mutually exclusive.
