Velkyn, I've read this book and found it to be very enlightening. As I wasn't raised in any religion, didn't even know who Jesus was until I was about 8 years old, this book was a revelation to me. I had no idea that deconversion was such a difficult thing.
I would recommend this book to all atheists and even Christians. It is full of well thought out explanations of why he questioned his religious beliefs. He discusses where in the Bible he found errors and why is bothered him so much. He does it in a modest, nonthreatening manner, without all the anger so many ex Christians feel. For this reason many Christians might, just might, read this book. We know they won't touch Dawkins and the others but Christians might at least flip through the pages of this book.
