Do your co-workers listen too, or even know you're listening?  Are they thinking "... something fishy about fishjie...."?

i work at a tech company in redmond, washington

seattle area is already pretty liberal and techies are pretty logical, so really don't have to deal with any fundies here.   thank god i dont live in the bible belt.

edit:   that's so cool she's from washington state

hopefully she still gives talks and i can meet her!   her deconversion experience was similar to mine for sure.

I have a degree in computer science, but there were some guys in my classes who were devout Christians and many of them were members of CHEN. I don't think you want to participate in CHEN unless you want your home-schooled kids to fear jesus.

Thanks for that one. I listened to the whole 2 hours, seven minutes and 2 seconds. There are some segments of this on TED.

My first acquaintence with Julia was at a Secular Humanist bash, They were playing one of Julias DVDs . LMAO along with many others.  She manages to combine standup with some pretty serious philosophic stuff.
