Vikings didn't believe in the virgin stuff.  They were too busy wreaking havoc on things..  (the bear was probably a stripper..)   :-[

If your ancestors were vikings, then between the realms of ice and fire, Niflheim and Muspellheim, respectively, a drop of water formed.  From it came the first giant, Ymir.  A cow named Adumla wandered into the Ginnungagap - the space between Niflheim and Muspellheim, and licked a glacier until it became a guy who, a couple guys and chicks later, gave birth to the gods.

I studied viking saga in college.  I think Astreja knows more about it than I do though.

I actually don't remember much about it.  Just the ancient viking stuff.  I just smirked when I read it, and then the memory became a bear humping the ground..
It's like how I relate to LDS as a bird crapping a rock on a dude's head..   :(
