I could help with this problem - but ah, you'd have to pay me..

I would say the site needs more server resources, mostly. Put it in a cloud, do some performance tuning and you're good. Unless it's being hammered by invalid requests, which in case you need ip banning techniques on input validation..

If you all just had a resource limit exceeded msg from about 5:45 MTN, 4:45 PST, 6:45 CST, or 7:45 EST, it was likely due to a search I performed on 'plant life' to try and find an old thread..

Perhaps some of the searching functionality is going through full-text searches and utilizing too much resources? Good job, Jeremy..

Sysadmins should be seeing this in their logs. My assumption is something will likely be done about it, if the funding is there, rather shortly. It's a very commonly occurring issue..
