This is much closer to home than Reason Rally was - and probably a less expensive trip overall. This one goes on the calendar. Since I can drive to Madison in less than six hours, it won't require much planning ahead, other than reserving a room somewhere...

Wow, look how fast I just talked myself into that! :laugh:

I want one somewhere nearer So Cal - as a matter of fact, I could probably assist with leasing an 80 acre campground (with 2 full performance stages & a lovely lake) for the event.

A dream of mine would to be help set up such an event - we use the same space to put on 3-4 day music festivals 2x per year (one coming up the weekend right after Coachella, just a 45 min drive from that massively popular festival), which turn out usually to be nice, family affairs attended by roughly 10K people....

Would be a blast! (espescially during either spring or fall, otherwise, it's a bit hot out here in the desert)  :)
