I'm rather curious.

No kids, but if I were to have them, I'd adopt.

One, biological and no plans to add to the count by either adoption or biology.

Why? Over population phobia? Or other reasons?

2.  We had one of each, and then (having collected the set ;) ) we stopped.

2 is good - it means each one has a parent to play with it/comfort it/keep it from killing the other one.  With 3, of of them will be able to escape/shave the cat/east the dishwasher tablets when the parents are busy with the other two!
Just because you've always done it that way doesn't mean it's not incredibly stupid.
Why is it so hard for believers to answer a direct question?

Kids abandoned by their parents (either because they were not wanted or because their parents simply couldn't support them). Need I say more?

However, with three they have innumerable permutations of ways to annoy each other. This distracts them from annoying you.

The other advantage is that I can now concentrate on almost anything despite what sounds like police using elephants to control a riot in the background.

2 and 3 granddaughters, they all live in my place.  I enjoy the grandchildren more than the children, maybe it is my age. Having none at all would seem like a lot of missed experiences to me. I also have 3 dogs so there is always something going on in the house, boredom is not a problem.

One.

My brother has 5 and my sister has 5.

My brother believes that God decides how many children to have. My sister wanted 4 but got 5 instead.

Isn't that similar to the Duggar's stance on having children?

I have no children, nor will I have children till I'm in a stable relationship, preferably one that can support them.  I was the eldest of four, and in retrospect, my parents were barely making ends meet.  You don't get reduced-cost school lunches if you're doing well with money, and you don't have parents and children cooperating to deliver six morning paper routes for the fun of it.

It's funny.  I never thought much about this stuff back when I was growing up, but it's clear as day now how these various foibles ultimately worked to influence decisions I made, often without thinking hard about it.
Worldviews:  Everyone has one, everyone believes them to be an accurate view of the world, and everyone ends up at least partially wrong.  However, some worldviews are stronger and well-supported, while others are so bizarre that they make no sense to anyone else.

No kids, and I have no desire to start a family.
Being a Christian, I've made my decision. That decision offers no compromise; therefore, I'm closed to anything else.

You didn't include "unknown" as a choice. I used to be a hippy. I'm supposed to know the answer? (It wasn't really that great, but allow me my false memories.)

Two that I know of.   :(

I have 2 at the moment. I would love to have more, but I hated my wife's pregnancies more than she did. If we could find a surrogate then maybe we'd have more, but as it stands now, we may try 1 more time and after that, we may adopt a few kids. Our 2 keep us busy, but we (really she) have gotten a bit lonesome no longer having babies around and I miss my neice and nephew.

Do not want any. I can barely look after myself let alone children! Still, I love kids, great to play with. But it's always good to have the option of handing them back (to parents) when they get too smelly/dirty/noisy.

I have to laugh. Most of my family and friends expected me to eventually exhibit a maternal instinct or two. To this day, at the age of 54, I have never changed a diaper. I can play with and talk to kids, but when the icky or annoying parts happen I hand them back.

Ironically, I don't mind at all cleaning up after my dogs or cats.  &)

I have none. Because of a medical condition with my husband I selected I cannot have children.

Considering adoption in the future. I'd love to have kids. My husband really wants that father-daughter bond type of thing. But a long with having that bond comes years of cleaning poop and puke that doesn't seem real fun. Right now I'm happy without kids. Kids are fun and all, but a lot of responsibility and currently two cats and a mortgage payment seems almost too much to bear.

It is hard for atheists to have children.  We usually BBQ them before they get very far along.
